Kelly Dee is the Community Outreach Coordinator and the right hand of Garfield Farm. She is currently working on her Masters in Social Work at the University of Pittsburgh with a special interest in urban social justice issues. In her work with the farm, she is seeking to build pathways to connect the neighborhood with redeeming the land through urban farming, and providing opportunities to serve the needs of the community and work towards racial reconciliation.
Rev. John Creasy is the Associate Pastor at The Open Door Church, a missional church community that worships at the Union Project in Highland Park. It was John who pushed to get the church involved in urban farming as a form of missional engagement in the Garfield community.
